How long can I wear the GVSS retainer lenses before bed?
We recommend to not wear the retainers for longer than 30 minutes
before closing your eyes to fall asleep.

How many hours can I wear my retainers at night?

You can wear GVSS retainers for 6-12 hours. 8 hours is the ideal amount
of wear time.

Will I be able to see 20/20 the next day without my glasses?
Your vision may be temporarily and/or mildly improved during that first
day. It can take up to 2 weeks for vision to stay clear all day and night.

Can the retainer get lost in my eye?
The lens can move off-center, but it can not go behind the eye. There
is tissue and muscle that surrounds the eye that prevents this from
happening.

What should I bring with me during each GVSS follow up?

You must bring all of your GVSS retainers and solutions to each visit. The
lenses should be cleaned and stored in Biotrue solution in case they need
to be checked in the office.
