Alternative Cleaning: ClearCare with Biotrue

We recommend sterilizing the lenses in a peroxide solution, called Clear Care
Plus, overnight. After 6 hours the lens is ready for wear. It is then optional to
condition the Scleral Lenses in Biotrue after removing them from Clear Care for 5
to 10 minutes. RED CAP ALERT! That red cap means you should never put CLEAR
CARE® or CLEAR CARE® PLUS Solution directly in or around your eyes.

1. Place lenses in labeled baskets and rinse for 5 seconds with ClearCare

2. Fill the lens case to the line with solution

3. Put it all together and tighten the lid

4. Soak overnight or for at least 6 hours. If you don’t wait 6 hours, you may hurt
your eyes.

Insertion Solution

Nutrifill, Lacripure, and ScleralFil are the only FDA approved solutions for the
insertion of Scleral Contact Lenses. These solutions are used to fill the well of the
Scleral Lens before placing on the eye.
