Applying Your GVSS Retainers
Remove the lens from its case and place it up like a bowl on the index
finger of your dominant hand. Inspect the edges of the lens to make
sure there are no chips, cracks, or any defects. NEVER wear a damaged
retainer.
Place 1-2 drops of lubrication eye drops in your eye and then inside the
well of the retainer.
Hold down your lower eyelashes with the middle finger your dominant
hand. Use your free hand to gently hold your top eyelid open. Make sure
you place the lens directly over the center part of your eye. If the lens
ends up on the white part of the eye, you must manually center it.
If your lens lands on the white part of the eye:
1. Look into a mirror to establish where the lens has moved.
2. Move your eyes in an opposite direction away from where the lens is
currently located.
3. Then create a stop by applying pressure on the side of your lids where
the lens is located. This will prevent the lens moving.
4. Slowly look towards the direction the lens is located, allowing the lens
to move back to the center of the eye.
NEVER place your finger directly on the center of the retainer to drag it
into place.
